Quick note random rants etc have been removed to the silly thread (we don't delete comments) which is in the forum lounge, please don't take this as anything more then moderators keeping this section clean.

To the more long term members, please make people feel welcome and no more x for winner posts or you will be asked to not post in this thread or be allowed to take part in any competition at Webdigity. Stick to general comments and even constructive but well thought out critiques but lets give everyone a chance.

It would be a shame if we had to cancel these competitions because a small minority made the designers feel unwelcome or make them feel they have no chance of winning, and while I know many of you want to promote your friends but everyone has feelings and some people may misunderstand.

hey olaf.  thanks for the feedback.

i agree about the round "light", it doesn't give the right vibe.  the ball is too big or the wrong shape or both, that's sort of why I did the second one with the street lamp style thing.  If i have some more time later i'll try and merge the two concepts into a third incorporating the positive elements of each.

iceweb: that logo looks ok as far as design goes, but i think its far too big to be used in many different formats.. consider making it in different sizes maybe?
