true, but I can't imagine anyone will buy a reciprocal link, to a directory that has no traffic and no extra features. I guess I'm asking what makes this directory different?

A link back to your site is helping you Free referrals bring links which increases your PR and other things making your directory more attractive, you might as well get rid of referral link all together.
The answer is that people submit their site, see it get approved, and then remove the reciprocal link! Maybe if it costs them something, they will think twice before removing the link.

Sorry dude, but I still don't see why am I going to pay for the reciprocal. Specially that high of a price. I ran a few directories with very high traffic and when someone removes reciprocal I simply remove them. I mean if Your site is a PR7 or higher than I might give it a thought.

when i maintained LeetLink i never added fee's it was totally free to use.. the site is to new to attempt to sell to many things for to high of a price.. you need real traffic first before you can turn some profit
