I might be in need sooner of a Site Marketing service, link building or whatever it is called to make your site popular in SE's and on humans on the net. If you have any recommendations please post. Some clients want to build rep fast that they may actually pay for it as extra...
I think Tim can help you with that, but as far as I know this is in general a very expensive service.
Last time I searched I couldn't find a service (a reliable one) that offered for less than $5,000 and in that price I prefer to spend some of my time
That actually what stopped me on the first place. But there are those more affordable ones I haven't found yet that can link build for you... Like listing you in free directories, talking about your sites in other blogs etc, the common things we webmasters do but can't if we're out of time if you know what I mean.

Depending on what you want to do we offer a range of services, send me an email or pm with what sort of thing your after and I will do you a quote. If all your after is directory submission we are not the people to talk to

Online Marketing? I have no idea where to start... I actually thought about this since I talked to a client and they are offering distance education, and they want to get the word out quick, page ranks, dmoz, alexa all that stuff... I am actually figuring out now how to get a dot edu domain...
If I can promise them all of those, I might close the deal...

well since you used words like dmoz and page rank and alexa you might want to go and do some serious reading paticularly dmoz and quick in the same sentence.
getting a dmoz link is nice but take time PR has nothing to do with promotion its a by product of other things alexa is a site that measures web stats nothing else
Promotion has nothing to do with any of them, concentrate on decent link building strategy, coupled with Social marketing and use of social bookmarking sites. If they want quick results consider a PPC along side on site optimisation and general promotion.

Yes I speak of those which I don't really know nothing of, so cut me some slack here. Anyways you do offer this kind of service?, glad to hear that... I hope if it is not that steep, or of any bother to you, can you send some package with brief explanation to the service on my PM or better yet a page I can forward to the client that is in "Laymens" terms, as I can't explain it to them any better...

designer, heres my suggestion. others might have their own opinion about this, im just sharing the results from my own site.
directories are okay just to get your homepage indexed.
afterwards, deeplinking to its internal pages thru social bookmarking sites like digg and squidoo. get 5-10 links/day, everyday for one year if possible. acquiring inbound links is an on-going process.

Submitting to a few directories is only part of link building, writing content, making sites crawlable, contact webmasters, linkbaiting techniques, getting linking policies in places, having correct disclaimers, privacy policy all these are part of the ground work, you want your kid brother contacting webmasters on your behalf?
Link building is only one aspect of site promotion and directory submission is only one part of link building. The difference between paying a web company to promote your site or run your link building campaign and getting your kid brother to submit links is huge.

Yeah it's like asking someone to design a professional site in FP... I really need those professional informations since some of my clients inquire for those services sometimes, so its good to know that there are actually people I can trust doing this... It's just hard to get them in the progra, if you know what I mean....

the link building with social bookmarking sites and directories is just what i meant about letting your kid brother do, since its a laborious job. not the other things you mentioned tim.
