first of all, the script is a great user authentication tool. a really well built script. kudos to the developers.

i have a small request... kindly try to add this feature in the next versions of the script, or please help me by guiding me. i need to make this fast ...

I want to create member referral links so that my members will be able to promote the site, ie. http://mysite.com/?ref=username Visit through proxy. Upon registration by a new member, this link would appear in their profile section. I would also like to be able to keep track of and display hits to a member's referral page when they are promoting (for contest purposes). All referrals that a member generates will also be displayed in their member area.

Pretty common stuff, right? Could someone please direct me to a resource that would put me on the right track to learn how to accomplish those things? Any help would be most sincerely appreciated!

sure you can write some code to do that with AU, but you need to write some (advanced) code to get this working. I don't thing there is a resource, you need to write that code by yourself or need to hire someone.

Why not use the referral number as a cookie and that way you can pass it to any field in a form?

yep that could store the referral ID (and will solve the problem that you loose the id if something happen)
