Whois Problem

I've been working on my whois service and for some domain names I get really funny results. When I  for example look up google.com I get this result:

To single out one record, look it up with "xxx", where xxx is one of the
of the records displayed above. If the records are the same, look them up

I'm using whois.verisign-grs.com so I simply visited verisign.com to lookup the smae domain names:

I have the same problem with all the big once (microsoft.com, yahoo.com, live.com, altavista.com etc).

What's going on?

try whois.crsnic.net (you need a script to to query this whois server)

maybe it's your whois script? do you tried the same script on a different server?

Just try http://www.saferwhois.com/ and you'll get the same results from webdigity.com and none of those are on my servers
