Today when I checked my analytics statistics, I realized that for ALL of my sites there is probably data missing ...

I supposedly had 0-10 visitors on each while the normal is 50-150 and I know it was not a slow day because the adsense impressions are really similar to most other days .... and awstats seem to show the no drop in traffic ...

Did anybody notice anything similar ?

yes, I see the same thing. Maybe wait another day, the stats might still get updated

it happens very often that the script doesn't cout visits for several hours...

maybe we need an alternative? (with a better interface of course)

I like the features of Google Analytics a lot, but there is still the problem that you don't have exact referer information...

http://analytics.blogspot.com/ - is reporting the all clear, but I'm still seeing missing chunks of data, it would happen at the end of the month, as I was doing the monthly audits for clients Smiley
