It's time to use PHP5!

« on: Aug 03, 2007, 01:54:54 PM »

Hi,

I found some simple php script to create a cronjob. the cronjob is installed with this command:

Code:
passthru("crontab cron.tmp 2>&1",$back2);

while the file cron.tmp contains the job command. The bad thing is that there is no delete function in this script Sad

where is the data/file located whith the information that the cronjob within cron.tmp is executed (or do I missed something here?)

Thanks

Why don't you use the crontab -e command to do this?

It depends on the distro you are using. Some have folders like :

/etc/cron.hourly/
/etc/cron.daily/
/etc/cron.weekly/

and I think in debian based distros is in the /etc/rc.d folder or something like that.
