Hello, From New York!

I just wanted to say hello and introduce myself. Hopefully this will be a good fit for me. I used to participate in forums ALL the time a few years ago, but ran out of time and energy. Browsed around for a while this evening and it looks like a very interesting and active forum, so I am excited.

Anyway, I'm 24 and from New York. I have two kids (Mason- 5 1/2 and Winter- 1 1/2) and am pregnant with my third (and last!).  I am a freelance web designer and blogger. I love CSS and Photoshop. I've worked for some pretty high profile websites, and currently am enjoying a slightly slower paced lifestyle working on my own projects, and picking up a freelance one here and there. So I have a lot more time now to dedicate to enjoying forums again!

Like I said I love CSS and Photoshop. I'm better at coding than designing, but that doesn't stop me from trying I love to mess with CMSes and make them bend to my will and have them display what I want, where I want it and how I want it.

I'm a bit of a CSS purist but I don't let that get in my way of enjoying other people designs and trying to help out any way I can.

My design website (a forever WIP) is CSSgirl Designs . It's a blog about design, code, and whatever I feel to write at the moment, along with a few tutorials, loads of resources, an archive of old crappy blog templates I did back in '02-'04 and some other random free stuff that I'm slowly adding to when I have time. I have a few others but they aren't ready for public display yet My site used to be Triple L Productions, but I have since changed my domain and company name. I've been designing for about 10 years now, with the last 4/5 professionally.

Uh, so yeh I guess that's about it for the moment, hope to stick around and get to know all the active members!

Nikolas - I am completely biased because I have born and raised in New York, but I really believe it is one of the most beautiful fun places around. Except, it just too damn expensive!

ventureskills - Thanks for reading! I wish I had more time to write useful posts like that!

Olaf - Oh I used to go crazy with all the work I was doing (getting 2 hours of sleep a night, stupid!) but I've since calmed down and learned to relax. Now I'm trying to just focus on my own stuff. My husband is a wonderful help, except he is in the car biz so he works long hours too. Thank goodness my son is getting older and loves to help out mommy!
