I just found this place. I am not sure how well it works yet, but I will update as soon as I start getting feed back.
But any who, I found it after I got an odd hit from a Taiwan server, IP address 203.69.39.251. Now at first I assumed that this was a proxy server of some sort, so I googled the IP address, and it came up with several hits that said it was a spam harvester & Comment Spammer. So I checked my guest book (which I had just emptied of 2 pages of spam yesterday) and there were over 10 new spam comments in the guest book. Now the most reliable looking link mentioned this Honey Pot Project, so I did some research and found out that you install this code onto your server, and add a hidden link to the page (they offer PHP, CGI, and several other choices) from your main page. That page has emails & other stuff that spammers love, but project honey pot is watching. If they find any spammers they keep up with them & you can get a report with IP addresses & what kind of threat they are.
Now I am not sure how this works, I haven't done enough research yet, but I know we all hate spammers, and I just thought I would share.
I hope I posted this in the correct spot, I didn't know where to share it at. Since I don't want you all to think I am spamming for this place, I am not going to add a link here, Google Project Honey Pot, or message me & I will send it to you. If this post is more appropriated somewhere else, please move.
Thanks!

It's ok you can post the link here. But I don't think that this will help you get less spam in the first place. I mean keeping spammers busy with fake emails makes their business harder but it doesn't stop it in any way.
I think the point is that they are collecting spammers ip addresses so you can block them from your site & so they can use the info to build better anti-spam software & to enforce anti-spam laws. They need more people in the project so they can get more info.
Sorry if I didn't explain it well the first time.
