ventureskills: Its just different, one is online and the other one you have to download an add-on for firefox. What if you use IE or Opera? Im sure there are or will be addons for every browser but its someting you have to download. Anyway, im not selling a script to download videos, im selling a script that will let you hae your own video downloader site.

It is illegal because at least youTube allow only web use (check their TOS)

Hi, what do you mean that they allow only web use... i mean, you are not intereacting with them or modifying their TOS... this script generates a download link based on the video link you provide... It doesnt matter if youtube is for web use only as you are not downloading the videos FROM youtube

Yeah that's strange, but in fact you can even find other copyrighted materials in internet (peer to peer)

In any way if you use this software to a web site you own, you may have legal problems.....
