Bulk traffic is not converting anyway. So I suppose for traffic you should keep doing what you do. But with some optimization your traffic will convert better.

Most ad clickers come from search engines. Social communities such as stumbleupon can make your traffic surge for a while but no ad clicks.

1) Post unique and High Quality website/blog content.
2) Add Social Bookmarking Websites' Buttons on your website/blog
3) Write Articles and submit it to popular article submission websites.
4) Add your website/blog to directories.
5) Try to join forums and get reviewed by members of these forums (do not spam).

I would like to asked how can you gain traffic in adsense using stumble upon and other social bookmarking site. I am bit confused about it since I am using stumble upon but I am not gaining traffic from it?

Well, kind of a weird question. You will get traffic the same way and with the traffic, more click will come. Why not try and place the ads somewhere else, where it's more visible?

I was able to drive traffic to my website but i am not getting any adsense revenue can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong?
