Hi,
Last time i playing a lot with css and xhtml, javascript etc. Trying different web designs
and having fun a lot. Have some friends who asking for real website. Well, i want to start
some REAL job and build websites. Ok, sounds very easy, just do it, huh..

Finally i realise what there is some kind of system or.. how it is in english. ee algorithm
of all design. I dont want to ask or speak about color choice or php vs js or serverside vs client
side or etc etc.. My question is more simple. Do you know how to start think about design?
Some basic, something around colors and font choice but not excatly about all this..

Well, i slowly get till idea what first of all i have to understand for whom or for what reason
is this site, then about content, then have to understand is there pictures, or videos or
whatever else... comon.. there should be on internet some nice article about all these things.

I dont want to make something new for me but old for other world, so if you have any sugestions
where i have to check some links or good articles about all this i will be happy to get Smiley

Some time ago i saw somthing like this:
1. step speak with client, understand their needs
2. get all pictures, texts etc
3. make logicly together
4. understand what client like/dislike try to find best solution..
.... etc etc..

maybe all this for you sounds like a crap however i find this important for me.. Smiley
I just get tired to change 5 times same site becouse i found out what i forget something to put in
and after i put something more in, have to take a lot of crap out and finally from first design
i have only name Cheesy or something like that..
cheers.

I am not a designer but I think the way you think is the correct one. Thinking first for whom is the site (or what is the purpose of the site) is the best thing to begin. For instance black would be cool for a star wars fansite, but it would be a disaster for a food company's site Smiley

Trial and Error my two best teachers Cool
