I have just wrote a new post on Directory Kit, which is How To Get High Ranks For Desired Keywords

Since one the best free ways to drive traffic to your site is trough search engines it?s really important to have high ranks for your desired keyword(s).

Not bad for a basic SEO, but I have to tell you that the purpose is not just to get links with a desired anchor text. Relevancy of the pages that link to you is more important

I agree..... Relevancy is most important while getting links, try to get a link from most related topic and at most a page which is most similar in topic/theme.
