creating "remote" CRON jobs

Hi,

the CRON function on my reseller account doesn't work and the provider looks not be able to solve that problem
because I need some simple jobs done on the server I decided to run these CRON's on my own machine.

I remember me that there is the "GET" required, but what is the right matrix for this regular CRON job:

I am not sure what you want to do, but as you need remote cron jobs why don't you curl/wget the page from your server?

I need to execute the files on that reseller server ones a day, is it faster/better to do it that way?

It is not faster but this way you can trigger the cron job from another server, and run it to the server you want.

I was wrong, what I meant was this:

0 4 * * * wget http://www.example.com/file.php

this is OK right?
