is there anyone using the module mod_bandwidth? (http://www.cohprog.com/mod_bandwidth.html )

is this a good one? are there maybe known problems? (I didn't found at Google)

I want to limit bandwidth usage for bigger files, mod_evasive is cool to prevents DDoS attacks

You want to limit the bandwidth usage (eg. 100mb per ip) or the connection? (eg. 100kb/sec)

If you want the second one, you probably need to make some rules in your firewall.

MaxConnection
Syntax : MaxConnection <connections>
Default : 0 (unlimited)
Context : per directory, .htaccess

Restrict the number of maximum simultanous connections. If the limit is reached, new connections will be rejected. A value of 0 mean that there isn't any limits.

actually I want to do two things limiting the bandwidth (using max 10mbit for all users together) and I want to limit the number of connections (as described above)
