I have uploaded all files to the server and read the install.txt but the instructions are extremely vague for a new webmaster such as myself. What Host should I use? localhost? database prefix? What is this used for? Anyone have a small typed up instuctions file that provides some extra detail?

Many Thanks,

Jasper.

Update: ok I was able to create a sql database and add a user to it. Everything so far seems straight forward. I am not looking at this section: The update script is downloading the XML feed from clickbank, unzip it, and then update the database.
Additionally you can use a cronjob to make this process daily. This can be done by adding this to your crontab file :

10 0 * * * php /home/jhsawyer/public_html/bestsubmitsearch/cbscript/importXML.php > /dev/null 2>&1

My question is do I post this entire line into a standard cron job or a unix advanced one? I run many websites and will be using this script to add clickbank to many websites that all have differnet content, so is there anything else I will need to do in order to get the contextual part working?

Thanks

Jasper

This line is the unix cronjob. If this is executed then you are ready to use the script

So would this be the reason the contextual side is not working properly?

For the contextual mode check the "Maintenance" section of the admin
