We are currently looking for a passionate AJAX programmer to join our small
  but agile development team. This is the perfect position for a freelance programmer
  who?s looking for an exciting new project to add to the portfolio. Your
  current workload will be between 5 and 15 hours per week, and if it looks like
  we?re a good fit we?ll get you started right away.
 RESTRICTIONS

  ? This position relies heavily on the use of PHP and Javascript. It also
  involves the implementation of Web services APIs using XML-RPC and SOAP. If
  you do not consider yourself an EXPERT in this field, please do not apply.

  ? Although this position is off-site you MUST live in the United States
  and be available by phone on occasion to discuss requirements.

  ? Hours are flexible, but deadlines are not.
 MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  ? Standards-compliant XHTML/CSS layout guru

  ? Minimum 5 years of Javascript experience (minimum 3 months AJAX-specific)

  ? Javascript DOM expert

  ? Minimum 3 years of PHP experience

  ? Minimum 3 years of SQL experience

  ? Thorough understanding of OOP

  ? Thorough knowledge of XML parsing with PHP

  ? Experience with XML-RPC and SOAP

  ? Ability to understand technical documentation in order to implement
  an API

  ? Above average communication skills

  Our team is working hard to build an internet platform which will be used by
  millions of people. We are a distinguished group of designers, engineers and
  usability experts, and we are looking for an AJAX developer to help turn our
  ideas into code.
 GETTING STARTED

  If this position sounds like a good fit then we can?t wait to hear from
  you. Here?s what we need in order to get started:
 1. An email describing why you think you?d be a great member of our

  2. Up-to-date resume or online portfolio.

  3. Examples of AJAX tools that you have developed. Depending on the examples
  you provide, we may require you to complete a small sample project to demonstrate
  your skills.

  above is missing we will not be able to consider you for the position.
 INTERVIEW PROCESS

  Once we narrow down the list of candidates we?ll contact a few to setup
  a time where we can speak over the phone. A candidate will be selected by November
  4, 2005 and the first project will begin November 7, 2005.
