Did anybody notice that all Overture relatetd keyword tools and software don't function anymore? I just went to check on the Overture website, it's gone there too.
One of my most beloved keyword tools has left the scene, after sooo many years of being useful to thousands of webmasters and SEO people. It's gone, vaished from the face of the matrix. I'm frustrated! Gravely frustrated
I was actually expecting that to happen ever since Yahoo copied AdWords, so to speak. But now it really seems to have happened.
Did anybody hear anything that would make me smile again?

Yes, money is always a concern. I bit the bullet and re-up my subscription with WT every year because I use it all the time. I also use the free tools previously mentioned too as a good cross-reference.

So you're saying WT is worth the money! Doy ou know where WT get's it's clickthrough numbers from? Overture results come from Yahoo and accompanied search engines, Google Keyword Tool results come from Google and Google Network searches, where does WT get the numbers?

Watch the video here: http://www.stompernet.net/goingnatural3/ It's not all new what they tell you but this tool is worth looking at. and for the price they charge; you all wanna try it! It's FREE and will be released TODAY!

Do they realize that taking it down, even for a short time, will force all the 'heavy' users to go to another service? Then when Yahoo magically brings the tool back with an API (and presumably a price structure) they'll have a much harder fight to migrate people back.

Yahoo doesn't need money! They just waved 50 billion Dollars away, so i don't think they care too much about $. And to say no, to so much doe, they must have some kind of a backup plan. We're up for a surprise again.

I never did quite trust the Overture tool. It gave me some bad numbers that confllicted with all the other keyword tools, plus many times the words were out of order. The good part is that it was better than nothing for a number of years until better free tools came along.

Maybe I am blind, but can someone please tell me the links to wordtracker and the other tools mentioned here? I really appreciate it and apologize if in my blindness I do not see what should already be there.

For the Google Keywords tool, that by the way has become a great tool after the green bars have been converted to real numbers lately and therefor not only replaces, but tops, the Overture keyword too, just type Google Keyword Tool into the Google search bar. (I guess you need to make a Googtle account if you don't have one yet, to use the Google tools. For wordtracker go to: http://www.wordtracker.com/. There is a free trial for two weeks, after that they'll charge some fees.
