Hi guys,

I'm new here, so I hope this post follows the rules of this forum (please let me know if it doesn't).

I've been running, designing (tweaking a template and CSS) and hosting my own site for about 6 weeks now and was wondering if I could get your take on the general usability of the site.

You can find it here: http://thekaiser-edition.com

I'd be really interested in your feedback on the usability of the site and if I'm "technically" doing something wrong.

Many thanks and best regards,
Marcus

Your site looks fine to me. The only thing I would change is the urls. Some of them using query strings (?xxxx) which is not so good in SEO.

Hi Niklas,

thanks for the feedback. Could you give me an example of the url using a a query string? That really shouldn't happen and I can't seem to find a url like that on my site.

Again, many thanks.

Check the categories and the links in the top.

That's very strange. As far as I can tell there are no links with a query string on the site.

The "Contact" and "Links" pages up top use a ?page_id= query.  Also, the categories in the right (by author's name) use ?cat= queries.
