The below is the free translation of the text i found on my google account this morning. All my searches on the net especially at Google turned out negative. Did anybody hear anything? Any news from anywhere. It is not unusal in this country to make such anouncements on such short notice. But i think i could'nt even apply to that if i wanted to.

Ok - Maybe someone gets finally interested in this threat. lol

I finally found the answer in the German Adsense forum

It's not only Thailand but all countries besidas USA, Latain America and Japan.
Those are the only countries where AdSense Adverising will continue. All other countries are to replace the Adsense advertising blogs with  either an other referal bock or an Asense for content block.

The reason is that they found the Adsense referal links don't bring enough to keep them running. So it wasn't the Thais but Google.
Disadvantage: If you have running referals and the 180 days or the 100 $ mark is not reached at January 31st you can kiss the 250 $ goodbye. And you still got two days to remove all the referal boxes, else there will be an empty space soon.

Yeah it's true, Google is reducing the payouts for referals for many countries. You can get some official updates here :

Yeah right, they seem to go to scottland on holiday. They've just started their savings on my website.

Here's a story:
Since a few days i get immense traffic from msn to one of my sites (494 uniques in two days). And as well the appropriate amount of ad impressions and clicks. Then all of a sudden, the impression stop and so do the clicks while the visitors are still pooring in and the numbers still increase.
Seems the just don't show ads anymore on my site when opened in canada. that's where all the clicks came from. Also a way of saving..... lol
! dollar for the firefox - google package, seriously, who is going to put that button on the site for a buck? I just hope that they don't get broke and the whole world falls appart, waht would we do without google? search on netscape? ach, that's also google....

I wont agree with that. There are ways to use the firefox affiliate program and make some extra bucks while promoting an open source project Wink
