A New Promotion Co-Op strategy

I have a request and am looking for some webmasters to try out this new web promotion strategy. It is similar to Adsense in that it involves installing a little bit of code but instead of providing a small section of a page for the code I ask that you just create a whole new webpage for it. The code will then deliver to your site ala Adsense a complete, human edited, fully populated link directory from my server. I manage the links and review the sites for you. You just "rent" me your space.

How many webmasters am I looking for? As many as my server can handle and then some! My idea is this - that by having all these directories on all these websites every one of the links are then exposed to more traffic. More traffic equates to more advertising opportunities and more income for everyone. The income will be generated not from the clicks (as in PPC) but rather from an action (i.e. the sale of a paid link). I offer free links too, as a draw, but there are plenty of incentives for converting to paid links.

First of all I think you need a redesign of your site, because it does not look as a web 2.0 project.

Now regarding the directory, can we see an example directory? Does those links have any seo value?

BungeeBones is developing the idea of a community of webmasters to co-operate their efforts to have directories on their sites. It is a hosted service as the categories and links are hosted on my server. I am aiming to facilitate collaboration, and sharing between users.

But disagreement on the use of the term "web 2.0" is certainly up for discussion, as what exactly is it anyway? There is a lot of banter about it.

The same article in wikipedia says "Some technology experts, notably Tim Berners-Lee, have questioned whether one can use the term in a meaningful way, since many of the technology components of "Web 2.0" have existed since the early days of the Web".

Re "SEO value" I'm not sure what you mean exactly? Is it search engine friendly? Yes, it is. All of the directories are indexed readily by the SEs.

Optimization, as much as can be done with just a plain list of categories, is accomplished through dynamic title and descriptions unique to each hosted directory and for each category. It is a fairly new site and there are still plenty of empty categories but every page that has links is indexed.

The PR debate, though, seems like a waste of time to me. What can possibly be done to a plain list of category names that could judtify any significant difference in PR? As a submitter to a directory I want to know how many visitors my link is exposed to. Since PR doesn't take traffic into account I don't place much value on it.

But the Web 2.0 attribute I like the best is the one tht says a Web 2.0 site gets better the more people use it. That will be the effect for most people using BungeeBones as their directory, instead of launching their own (in most cases).
