Another Day in Paradise

Good day experts
I have setup a database for shark sightings on Koh Tao where users can add shark sightings with pictures and (soon) Video footage. Let me shortly explain what has been done until now before i ask the question.
On the first page we can search for any type of shark. We can also sort the entries by "Species" "Dive Site" and "Specified Loation on the Dive Site" Have a look at the Shark Database - Simple Search
But that is by far not all. In the advanced search we can narrow the search down to one single/specific shark. We do so by collecting information about "Markings" and "Body Parts". In the user form. The user can add three different markings on three different body parts, on each sighting.
On the Advanced Search we can now select the specified markings and a particular shark species (type). That will turn out one single shark and the dive site(s), location(s), date and time where this particular shark has been spotted.
Now does anybody have a good idea, how we could display those sightings on a Google-Map? Best would be setting an anker right from the submission form... hehe. If i' only knew....
Any ideas and/or help are highly appriciated.

I know there are several mash-ups on the net (and I need to do more with them too )
