all these 6000+ directories, sorry for bad words guys, s***ck. I wonder if there are people who waste time and oh, even worse money to submit site to these directories. There are 2 directories who deserve my personal attention - dmoz and google. Thats it.
So if I press Alt F4... What?

Capthca, do you ever have anything nice to say or do you just run around attacking poeple. Thank you for building this list. While directories may or may not have great value, just as directories, the PR is great stuff. Any PR4+ link will help.

Salestrainer, any PR4+ link will help you only if you are looking for pagerank. If you are looking for results then pagerank and directories is not the way to achieve it.

Directory links still has SEO value. They also can be a good source of traffic overtime. Think of it this way - two sites in the same niche, both having equal scores in Google's algo. Site A decided to submit to a few (100++ but less than a 1,000) quality directories and site B remain stagnant in link building - who do you think would be ranked higher in the SERP and would get a higher PR? And would generate more traffic in the long run?
