Let's say that a newbie put up a new site.  He/she started using AdSense on site.  He/she did not protect his/her email address so that it is displayed in clear text on the website on contact page.

After three months, which will you think will be more likely...

a) He/she will get more spam per day than the number of pennies earned per day from AdSense.
b) He/she will earn more pennies a day than the number of spam he/she receives per day.

They are not related.  The question came up because I am getting so much spam that if I had one penny for each piece of spam I got, I probably be making more money than from my AdSense.

LOL, that's funny Smiley

Well that's true, if we got one penny for every spam email, we would be billioners. My main email address is live for more than 10 years, so you can calculate the numbers....

That is a funny thought we will all be rich that way

things I do that keep me spam free

- I usually use a redirection email when I need to register for a service (ie bigfoot.com email)
and I will eventually delete the account when spam because unbearable

- I never put a raw email address on a webpage

- I use gmail.com which correctly filters 95% of the spam
