Watchmen does look pretty good, but I'd like to read the comics before watching the movie.
I recently saw the movie, Chicago 10, which was a really good hybrid documentary-animated film about the anti-war riots in Chicago in 1968. I recommend this film to anyone interested in learning more about that time period. The film highlights specifically the court case that followed the riots and does so in a very engaging way.

I have a tendency only to go to the theater to view a movie in first run when @ least the majority of this small list of criteria are met:
1. Read the book and loved it 2. The marketing blitz for the movie blows me away (advertising, trailers, previews, etc.) 3. Part of a sequel to which I enjoyed the prior movies (James Bond, Back to the Future, etc.) 4. I love the actor to the point that I may actually suspend the fact that this might be a "pay the bills" movie (a.k.a. horrid script, but he/she did it because they were offered an obscene amount of money) 5. If the director attached to the particular movie AND the musicians attached to the soundtrack have my utmost respect (EX: Gladiator - Riddley Scott was the director; Lisa Gerrard did the soundtrack)
The only factor that trumps my list is this: - When I get out-voted when I'm in a small or large group of people
OK, knowing that, the last movie I actually went to see was The Changeling with Angelina Jolie. This movie broke my heart into a million pieces. I just think this movie should be seen. Period.
As far as upcoming movies, who's going to see Twilight? I've read the book and it had my interest throughout the whole thing. I'm just curious how the relationship between Edward and Bella are going to be portrayed on-screen. Hopefully, "Cedric" will pull off the role.
