Best practice - add your url with google webmaster tool, add site map with do follow high pr social book marking.

The best way is to get backlinks. Google will follow them and index your site. Preferably high quality links from sites related to yours. But just about any links will do if you are just trying to get indexed.

I believe Social bookmarking is a good method for getting indexed in google. Its also a good way for getting back links.

Simply submit your site to Google webmaster tool and do all off-page activities which include social bookmarking, directory submission, blog commenting, articles, forums etc...

Try RSS feeds and pinging this is going to index your new pages quickly its like saying "hello there is new content " to google bots
