Please don't ask so general things to the forum. There are hundreds of resources about SEO (including this site).

And please do not put sig type links to your posts. You can use your signature for self promotion.

Could you point out a few of the better sites or BOOKS that can help one to learn about SEO?  I understand you don't want such general questions, however, if anyone can point me to places where I can glean the most information (I know there's lots of info out there, but where is the GOOD info?), I would appreciate it.  I am not looking to hire an SEO company, but thanks for your inquiries.

If you want to learn about SEO stuff, rather search for SEO books online. There are free downloadable books online.   Smiley use the right search term to get good results.  Wink

seobook.com is a good resource.  As for me, most of the SEO skills I learned came from participating in webmaster forums Wink

if I had to recommend only ONE that would be Aaron Wall of seobook.com
and I know other people would recommend Rand Fiskin of seomoz.org

but in general asking or reading about specific questions on SEO
on this or other forums will give you the knowledge that you need
