Google Adwords keyword tool is very helpful to me. It doesn't give the exact information but atleast it gives us an idea on what keyword that is best to target.

the number of advertisers (who could blame them) you can now see the approx. number of searches for a certain keyword or keyphrase during the previous and during this month. The numbers of the present month are estimated by Google.

I think the Google Keyword Tool is broken! I tiped in Finance and it gave me results like 1500 for some key phrases for last month and 5 million for the same phrase this month. I first got blinded a bit and thought that we must have a real fat crisis 2009 at hand! But than i tried some other key phrases and found it to give the same kind of results. a few for last month and hundreds of thousands if not millions for this month!
Furthermore I have #1 sites at Google that according to this tool should have thousands of visitors per month (22'000 searches) but only have a few visits per month!
Anyone else getting skeptical about this tool? Let me know!

@McHow2 Probably they are not using data from searches, but from content network keywords as well. In any way this tool is more like a hint, I guess none is going to give us their exact data for free.

Nikolas, I'll be more often here again, once i've sorted out a few thing. Work has taken over my life once again. I found out that no matter where you decide to live, even if it is in paradise, work is always catching up, trying to make your life miserable

I would not want to be without it! Working with Web CEO since version 2.5 - now we are by 8.0. It's a great tool and the free version is enough for the average blogger. Wait to buy (if you think you need the unleashed version) until you get a special offer. That happens like 4 -5 times per year.

[quote author=Nikolas Yeah it rocks, but yet the results are not 100% accurate. Of course it is still the best keyword suggestion tool out there

I don't think there is any tools are 100% accurate. But as u siad, it is still the best. And I think we can just use various tools to help us to do the research work.
After all, the more info we get, the better we will know about the SEO and our site's performance.
