you can also protect files / folders with features provided by your notebook, many of protection scheme like fingerprint, face recognition can be used for this.

you can easily modify a folder's security settings in windows 7; for files, microsoft office has encryption settings. but there are ways to decode it.

So when you do a file encryption it already assures you of protection of files and folders? Is it that accurate enough for security?
