I think you need a better design for a web designers directory. Maybe something that looks more web 2.0 or a design with flowers and such stuff that designers love to see Smiley

Layout is good, basic design cues like edges and the likes look pretty ok. But you need a better header and less shadow effects... You also need a better logo and better color theme... But basically the layout looks promising and easy to update with a better design...
