I use photoshop. It will be the only tool used by professional. It has patented features and interface that every one is used. It offers top notch professional color matching and per-pixel manipulation from multiple sources.

I think it very important to split photo editing from creating web interfaces. Photo shop is great for mask effects but didn't work so good for simple web elements like buttons.

I think adobe Fireworks is the only professional web graphics program. But you should work with program you know the best Wink

Jpeg compressor & Photoshop CS3, Jpeg compressor can compress a JPEG to around 30% of the original file size without hindering much the graphic quality

I use Photoshop CS4 features additions such as the ability to paint directly on 3D models, wrap 2D images around 3D shapes, convert gradient maps to 3D objects, add depth to layers and text, get print-quality output with the new ray-tracing rendering engine, and enjoy exporting to supported common 3D formats; the new Adjustment and Mask Panels; Content-aware scaling (also known as seam carving[9]); Fluid Canvas Rotation and File display options.
I crack Photoshop!
