What Graphics program you use?

I use Jasc Paint Shop Pro, too. I can work in photoshop, CorelDraw, Photopaint and every other program, but I prefer Paint Shop Pro to any of these.

Oh, btw, I thought I'd share this, I started my career online as a graphic designer. I still design banners during 'off-season' and on special requests by my friends and old clients. I use to play around a lot in PSP. I will upload and post (read "show off") some of my 'digital paintings' soon.

I'd love to see them. I love looking at peoples' creations, even though I'm no good at them myself.

I use Fireworks and love it.  I have done some work in CorelDRAW, Freehand, and Flash

Photoshop and Image Ready are your friends.

Adobe Photoshop rulezzzzzzzz All versions of photoshop (2 and later...Yes there was a 2!)
Adobe ImageReady for gifs
Flash (from3 and later)
Adobe Illustrator for vectors...

Tip: Check out the trace option on Illustrator cs 2... Its great. It turns all images into vectors! Colored and BW  Trully great!!!

As for oppening psd s on fireworks it has problems reading shadows gradients etc...Dont try this at home :P:P

yes, photoshop is expensive, but it is unmatched in what it does.
I use photoshop CS2 for raster, CorelDraw X3, and Illustrator CS2 for vector design work. Since i started with Corel so i kind of prefer it over illustrator.

and yes, fireworks opens PSDs.

I have photoshop, I just use it since almost everybody else requires PSD and some other formats primarily from adobe, I hate to be monopolized (he he he) so for general work I use Paintshop Pro... to see what I can do with it, visit my site at << snipped >> . . . click on any links you like (like the Logos4Sale and Portfolio)... Whatever tool you use, its the hands that use it that matters...

I use Photoshop CS 2, have also Macromedia Flash but I'm not using it now but I will maybe in the future.

i am knowledgeable with photoshop, illustrator and freehand, but i use coreldraw always. also AutoCAD.
