I am going to buy VPS hosting, but don't know really what company to sign up with hostgator.com, serverpoint.com or vpslink.com. So, I ask you experienced and well-educated web masters to help me in order to make productive decision. Can you?

must say I tried several VPS hosting accounts, all of them are bad. The problem is that every VPS client is a risk of a downtime for the others.

Try a good reseller host or get a dedicated server

I'd go with HostGator.com as they provide their services on good conditions.

That is true, unless the burst Ram is used. I voted ServerPoint.com - they have such deals, where this downtime risk is reduced. Moreover they are most experienced among the suggested three.

Choosing the right VPS supplier depends on many things. Where are your customers? What resources do you need (disk space, guaranteed RAM etc)?

Check out the guide at http://www.comparevps.com/guide/select-vps/

Also, see the comparevps.com start page for a large list of suppliers from all over the place.

and how about quality of the network, overselling, accepting proxies, knowledge?

look the features are very clear vor most of the provider, but the quality is something you learn while using a VPS, I tried 3 (known) companies all of them where slow or offline many times...

I am really thankful for your inputs guys! I made a decision to choose serverpoint.com for VPS hosting. It has both Linux and Windows platforms and it seems to me that Linux VPS would be suitable for my project. I will share with you about the quality of its services in the near future. Thanks again.
