Question: Topic Sponsorships

I'm interested in the topic sponsorships and I have one question but not sure who to ask so why not make a thread?

Once I start a topic and purchase a thread sponsorship link the price is $1.99, now will that be forever? Even if the price raises would I have to repay for the new price change?

Would I be able to change the link just in case if I change the domain name? But the topic and the domain are both related, just changed for either copywrite/trademark issues, etc?

I have sponsored several topics...

the links are permanent, I guess that you need to buy a new link if you need to change the URL (but maybe Nick will do this for free if you're a good customer)

what about the "copywrite/trademark"?

Well most likely, I would like to use WebDigity as my main source of promoting some of my projects, and if I would like to copywrite my software including the name I might run into some copywrite/trademark issues understand? I mean I'm not sure if I will be a good customer as most likely one thread will be for overall use for my development, but I will for sure be a great user for WebDigity:)

I used this forum more than a year to support my php class user.

Look the price for the topic sponsor is very low, I think it's just fair to pay the this fee again for changes

anyway check you product name first before pubslish that product.

there is some google database for brand names and just use google to check if some similar product exists.

What if the name exists but not the project? Would I still run into problems? As in WebDigity community, and my project name is WebDigity Reader(idk the best thing i can come up with...lol) Would WebDigity be able to forcefully make me change my name if WebDigity has that named under copywrited? I'm not sure much about this so that's why I want to make sure.

Yea $1.99 is extremely low I wouldn't really mind paying for a new update but want to know first so I can know all the terms you know?

sure you can use names including other brands, but ask first!

on the other site this is bad for branding, your example will help webdigity but so much not your project

No you wont have to repay if the price changes. This is a permanent link and even if we remove this type of advertising in our forums, your link will be still there.

In general we don't change links, but of course I would change it for such a reason or for a contributing member
