No traffic according to chitika.com

according to chitika.com my daily page-visits dropped from 1600 (2005-11-06) to 20 (today). But according to sitemeter nothing changed.

I was fiddling arround with the chitika code very often, but I didn't do anything forbidden. Well... almost nothing. I put up a eMiniMall on one of my german webpages, but at this time I wasn't thinking anything. I just had forgotten about the fact, that you are not allowed to put eMiniMalls on non-english webpages. When I realised, that I did something wrong, I instantly removed the code from my german webpage.

Could there be connection?

I wrote an email to chitika, but they didn't respond yet.

I haven't mentioned anything simmilar to my stats.

Are you using the chitika as default to other ads?

If you do, propably this is the problem.

If not wait for the mail, as they respond to all emails in about 1-3 days.

If you'll find an answer please let us know too.

This could propably was a bug in their stats code. I think they made some changes in the system these days

Don't be shocked that they didnt respond to your email. I submitted my site to start using chitika and dig up some referrals, and they haven't responded. I even called them, and they didn't answer.

I can't say im surprised. They are either really busy, or they dont care :-p
