Have anyone here ever used digg.com ?
I like the idea, that the users decide which articles go in the top, and I heared that people who submit articles there are getting very good resullts.

Yes, digg.com really does wonders for your traffic. Just to show how popular it is, there's a term out now for being featured - "to be dugg" as in "to google"

It is very very popular, but the traffic has no real quallity in terms of conversion.
So as those people don't use the ads, or don't sign up maybe it is useless.

It seems useless, but I have read many bloggers speak of being digged and getting 100+ diggs so their article was on the front page. Some front page articles get 5000 uniques per day.

I have used digg for... what?.... 3 Days now. and I have recieved 200+ Uniques Visitors thrown at me. But, most of these visitors read the article and leave. That's the only down side I see in digg.com
A friend's article acrually made it to the coveted front page and stayed there for a little more than a day and he recieved almost 10,000 uniques that day (His normal average is around 90-100).. Thats what digg can do for you. But sadly, the traffic high lasted a little more than a week. Right now he's back down to 100+.
But hell, 10,000 uniques is still 10,000 uniques! No matter how long* you keep them !

Digg is, unfortunately, the ultimate two-dimensional player in a 3D world. Whereas Furl and del.icio.us cover a broad range of topics, Digg covers really only the mechanics of the Internet platform on which the real content exists.
To members of this forum, the dugg articles will be of interest, but most people (customers) could care less about how the Internet delivers their music, information or tulip bulbs. Digg will remain a niche player.

I somewhat agree. I like Digg alot more than the other Article Submition sites because to read the article, the user will be automaticly sent to your site, the article is not on DIGG.com, like most Article site are.
Ok I'm going to go off topic here but, since digg links to your articel on your site, wont you have a PR7 link back to you? And if you submit many, wont you have tons of them?
