My colleague wants to host his e-commerce web site and someone recommend him to use simplehelix.com magento web hosting. I decided to ask experienced web masters about this company. Could you tell me if it is trustworthy company? Are there any other good ones which are optimized for e-commerce web hosting? I just want to compare the offers. Have you ever had experience with magento web hosting?

Magento is a good choice for an eshop. The hosting should be secure - as we are talking for an eshop - but it doesn't matter if the company that offers it, sayd that it is "specific" hosting for magento as there is no such thing Smiley

In my opinion an eshop should be hosted on a dedicated box or at least on a VPS for maximum security

If you need to find reliable hosting company which can host your websites and make them always online when they're supposed to be, I can put forward recommendation to check out serverpoint.com hosting offers. This company is optimized for application web hosting and has nice reputation.

Why do you, OP, want to run your e-commerce web sites only on Magento, there are many other more stable e-commerce software - Zen Cart, Agora Cart and others. I believe you may use apthost.com service for running your e-shops as they support many e-commerces.

As it turned out, simplehelix.com has good reputation in the web hosting services market, so I suggest you to contact them direct and ask more details. It provides really fast speed.

I think that simplehelix.com is good company. It offers 100% applications compatibility - there are so many useful scripts to run e-commerce web sites ... It provides really fast PHP web hosting.

Great  conditions for eCommerce hosting are offered by webhostingbuzz.com. This provider has really great plans and secure and stable servers to host on.

I think reluiability isone of the main issues that are important when looking for the provider for eCommerce website, and this company is recommended.
