I want to know if the keyword placing on your meta keywords can affect your keywords rankings? As far as i know if you used your major keywords in a form of keyword phrase, no matter what is the position of your KW se's will consider it and you can get a point for your rankings.

I think the search engines not only care the meta, but also the content.

Meta keywords don't really matter. You should have your keywords in your content

It could have been only a coincidence. Keywords meta tag has very little importance. I have sites with no meta keywords who rank very well and bring a lot of traffic.

It sure couldn't hurt. I wouldn't say they are of no value. Haven't hurt my ranks.

meta words get used in some senses - for example the adsense bot likes them, at least until it finds the time to spider your site properly. But generally, put them in your content, and *make it look natural*

I don't think so that the keywords placement in the meta information increase the SERP's, it is the only backlinks which helps you to increase the SERP's.

xebecs yerk zarfs Google does not look at your meta keywords at all. (Too many people had been keyword stuffing there.)
