I'm hosted at Blue host and buy my domains there. if I were to buy somewhere else, Bluehost would still charge me 10$ per domain tro transfer, which is whaty they charge me to contract domains with them anyway.
Wish I could buyt some of those extra cheap domains somewhere else and use them.

Hi John,
I use only directadmin hosting (very stable, always updated).
I have now my own server, but use also shared hosting (try linkdisk.com), if you have a "real" hosting package you would never be charged for domain names if you host them somehwere else

Thanks for the info. I'm afraid that for now i'll have to stay with BH, which is OK. But it does bother me that if I would contract a domain name somewhere else, BH will charge me 10$ to have it transfered to my account there. Maybe someday Ipll have my own server. Do you mean a dedicated server or your own in your own office?
Where are my glasses?

I'll go for Godaddy. I transfer my domain to Godaddy as well with $7.17 per domain
