lets say I want 1 million page impressions on a pr4 or pr5 site per month how much would that cost on average??

ecpm could be between $1 and $xx, depends on traffic and the sites quality (not on the PR)

what Olaf said. I know a girl who 'books' banners on yahoo, aol etc for big entertainment companies. Not only does it cost a fortune, she MAKES a fortune too!

it all depends on what sort of traffic you want. You could get crap traffic for at that amount for $500, but you wouldn't get any conversions :p It really would cost a helluva a lot of money, and would probably max out your bandwidth :|

It all depends upon the website owner that how much he asks. Higher PR site will have high cost for impressions.

It would cost you a lot of money. Why not try for SMO and SEO (it would provide you long term gains, without wasting any money).

Cost for page impression comes under PPC i guess.
