it depends upon your niche. Probably you should ask what are popular keywords in particular niche rather than popular SEO keyword

This does not exist - the most popular SEO keyword. Depends a lot on geographical area, day... But you could check in Google Trends to see what people looked for. For example today in US: marcus jordan is on first place.

Yes, I was thinking the same thing. I will input though that I like Google's Keyword Tool. It is interesting to see how people search for things.

Have used WordTracker and every now and then see results that are obviously just plain wrong. I trust the Google tool much more than WordTracker.

He means what is the most searched keywords related to SEO. you should simply check in Google adwords, check this list: "SEO" "Search Engine Optimization" "more traffic" "more website traffic" "website optimization" "site optimization" and you can think about alot more. I belive SEO is the most searched keyword...

i think newbies like me should read more about seo(google). there are also video tutorials in youtube that will make us understand more things regarding seo.
