My new website. It's mostly in Spanish right now.

I appreciate comments on: design, colors, etc.

Please criticize / review honestly, I thank you beforehand no matter how critical you are. Thanks

To be honest I don't like this design. The color combination is not that well, plus I don't feel like with the boxes (and the borders around them)

What about sub pages? Wont you add a menu or something?

Thanks Nikolas, I appreciate your feedback. I am not really a designer, or not a very developed one in anycase. In an ideal world one would work side by side with a designer to make ones sites I guess. Well, anyways, I try to get better and will work on the site after a while. Thanks

If you new to web development/design, than it's not a bad first or second attempt. I don't need to state the obvious and I'm sure you'll sort out the issues of the colours used and table/cell position on the page. Otherwise I see it has some potential and you should persist. Keep up the good work.

Thanks mickeymcg too. I think I am going to redesign the whole thing and try to be less inventive and use something similar to other sites.

The first thing that struck me was the white space on the right. Why is this? The second was a lack of links on the page other than portfolio. You need more content than one page. Contact us ought to be on a separate page. You also ought to have an about us page. These two at a minimum or at least a start. You need bigger images for your credit cards. You can find many, many at Google images.

Kenjpet

Thanks for taking the time to make some comments. This thread actually started when I had another design.

AS for the space on the right, I believe there is value is white space, or at least that's what they say. It makes it look different, less crowded and makes it easier to read. Although it looks simple and austere you cannot image the amount of hours and days I spent building it. Simple sometimes is hard.

You are probably right in all the comments about needing an about us page and so forth. Actually what you see is a splash page intended for contacts that find my information at some specialized work places. In those sites all the other information about us is already present.

Also the Splash page has a link at the bottom that goes into the main Spanish site, where further information can be found by local people and the design is completely different and borrowed from a ready made drupal template.

Thanks
