no one get banned without a reason... the problem is that some spammer doesn't realize what he is doing Wink

I agree... and I would suggest to anyone who's signing up to a new forum, to read the forum rules carefully so you don't get caught out.

I don't think moderators are just crazy.
Usually mods want people to enjoy forums, so they don't ban members just on their whim.

If I feel that some mod has done something wrong to me, I usually talk to him in private and try to settle the issue that way. With reasonable people you can always discuss your point of view and find a way to obtain what you wanted without breaking the rules.

If you feel you have been banned with no reason, just try to talk to the mods privately.

It has always worked for me, each time some misunderstanding happened.

The one and only time that this did not work for me was on a major italian gaming forum which was the online site for the biggest italian gaming magazine.
On that site there was something strange going on:
a guy was advertising his emulated Lineage 2 MMORPG server (in order to play on an emulated server you need to breach the game client EULA). A mod, which was also his friend, encouraged people to join that emulated server. At the same time, this mod was considering "spam" the request for players for a guild for a LEGITIMATE server (thus editing my friends' posts and mine) .
That mod simply refused to give any explanation, instead he started a flame against another forum member unrelated to the discussion.

Me and my friends felt that we weren't being treated equally, we left that forum.
Why would I participate in a forum where the mods were being so bad at their job?

Just move on. If you think you haven't done anything wrong. There are some mods who just banned members without contacting or asking them the real issue. For me, though the rules indicated that you will get automatically banned if you do ''this or that" , but it's still better that they should inform their members so they will be aware of their status on that particular forum.

I wouldn't be very frustrated, unless this is one of my favorite forums, you know I meet some people at a few forums, so there'll be a chance to meet online friends somewhere else.

Moderators are people too. I frequent a few forums, and I've seen some pretty heavy handed moderators. Most do a very good job. If you feel you've been banned and shouldn't have been, send the moderator a note.

We can not do anything because moderator can not ban without any reason.

A moderator cannot banned you without any reasons. If your will not follow the rules then you can banned from the forums.
