Is that a standard set of guarantees that hosting companies offer - moneyback, server uptime and technical support. The major of hosting companies (innohosting, hostgator, dreamhost, etc.) guarantee that. Are there any other guarantees?

As a host myself I can tell that guarantees are all marketing gimmicks used by hosting providers. No need to repeat this again, you will find lots of threads at Webhostingtalk.com about it, it's always easy to guarantee something in your SLA and create lots of exceptions to minimize the situations when hosting clients can request quarantees.

I agree but there cases when SLA are absolutely necessary and can safeguard you in the court, so checking guarantees should be part and parcel of your choosing the host of your dreams.

Yep, Most companies offer 30-day money back guarantee, and 99.9% server uptime. And not many offer guarantee on technical support, even if they offer the time frame changes from company to company.
