Backlins from inner pages high Domain PR is important

I know lot of people will tell you that actual page PR backlink matters only.

But i think even if you manage to get backlinks from inner pages of some high domain PR sites, it will also help to higher the ranks of your website.

Now, its your duty to find out such high domain PR where you can get links from..

If you want my opinion, the only link that matters is the link that is coming from a relevant page, no matter pagerank.

right, if you have a page on your site that has a lot of external links you get much better rankings for that page than for the homepage

example: search google for "php scripting forums"
the first/second result is some well linked ajax upload tutorial from my own site

This is were article submission comes in to target the inner pages, for example if your home page is PR4 you need to get backlinks to other pages, to spread the PR, it looks odd other wise!

I don't think so that backlinks really matters for page rank. I think, the quality and content of your site and on-page optimization of your site helps you to increase the page rank of site.

As i know pagerank is a mathematical formula and ifor improving it, you just should get backlinks from high pagerank pages. Home page or inner pages. So i dont think getting backlinks form low pagerank inners pages  of a website with high pagerank, can help you

That reminds me of a question I have asked elsewhere to no avail. Some sites appear to have a PR4 homepage, and PR0 other pages. Is it definite that those PR0 confer no advantage if giving you a link?

Google takes the PR of index page not the PR of inner-page where your link is placed. The important thing is that the back-link should be do-follow...

Authorative backlinks are simply huge in affecting ranking, however. If we're talking about the authorative backlinks that pagerank is based on, then that not only matters, it is the single most important thing you can do.

Probably high PR domains will be good back link for the fast rankling and indexing and moreover get back links like domains .edu and .gov..
