jQuery was launched by ?John Resig? at BarCamp, New York City in the start of 2006. jQuery is an open source (free to use) Java Script library and plays a role of ?bridge?, joining HTML and JavaScript. Using jQuery you can add more sugar in your web pages by writing a few lines of code.
