Promoting my website with a blog

I have a site that deals with junior clothing.
I wanted to open a blog for it, and I wanted to ask you if you think it will be useful to open a blog for this kind of website, will it be useful? will it drive me more traffic?

I agree with onlineearnings opinion content matters and be sure to try to make your blog and site linked as much as possible

we use our company blog for two things the first to provide content about our market and second to direct Search engines to new pages and additions such as when we add new content on the main site like a new location guide.

blogs are always good ideas although the effectivness does vary greatly with your target market the best advice i can give you is that your target audience will be mums so you have to think what mums want from the store and not kids

I would like to suggest you to check some other blogs relating to your category, if they have good ranking and popularity then you should too try this technique. I got sticker printing website and also looking for some blogs related to it but now i m think to get my own ot experience that what are you think about.

I would encourage you to post quality over quantity. Don?t post just for the sake of posting. If everybody else has covered the unveiling of Apple?s iPhone then you may want to let it go. Ask yourself, ?What can I bring to the table?? If you can take an angle that you feel hasn?t been covered then by all means, continue, but if you are just going to post a ?me too? post, skip it.

Of course. Every opportunity at exposure and back links can't be a bad thing.

why not start a blog on your chosen subject, run it as a separate site and use the blog to advertise, i think people are more likely to trust a review and link on your blog then a blog attached to the site.

they think they?re getting a third person perspective on your site but it?s you all along, i?m guessing no one will give your site a better review than you.

Well yes opening a blog as a follow up for your site will certainly increase your traffic. Just put up some good articles pointing back to your site

Of course, a blog for your site will be beneficial but the contents of your blog should be unique.
