Some people believe most of the time, Google doesn?t know you are usingautomated tools to linkbuild, and there are some handy and effective links builders.

However, the thing is that Google are smart enough to dectect those fake links. Worsely, if u link to bad neighbours!

No, I don't like to use any kind of tools for link building because I like to do link building manually.

No, it is not advisable to build links automatically. You may get punished for that. SEs are clever enough to find that out.

I prefer doing link building manually. You can possibly get quality links if your site content is good and you are optimizing it carefully.

WEB CEO is a great tool.

Does that build backlinks for you? (It doesn't for me!)

We can guess that the SE's will try to detect use of such tools, and discount artificial backlinks. But a negative impact on a receiving site? That would start people using the tools to build links to their competitors' sites, to ruin the opposition!

No automated tools sometimes leave a footprint which may raise a flag with the search engines. I know there are tools like PR storm and bookmarking demon but the links are mainly no follow. So apart from helping your site to get indexed quickly, what's the point?
