GAH! So many TLD's coming out! I just heard of .SV was a dead country(soviet union) and .nato (wtf?)

I read somewhere that the .nato TLD has been shut down. I don't know the reason for it...

.sv is actually the country code domain name for El Salvador and not for Soviet Union.
