I am considering using Google Adwords. I don't have very much experience with web marketing. Does anyone have any advise? Or can anyone share their experience with Adwords?
Thanks!

Personally, I haven't gotten to that point in my advertising yet, but I would definitely be interested in hearing from someone with some experience on it!

The biggest advice I can give is to track your conversions, you maybe surprised what words/phrases are converting at the highest rate. Just driving traffic is not the answer, drive traffic that takes the actions you want!

What you should definitely start with is finding out best keywords to promote your site. And you can easily do this with such services as semrush or spyfu, but i prefer the first one. it is cheaper

If you have no experience of PPC then you should start campaign with extra caution otherwise you can waste lots of money. However google adwords offer its tutorial but you should look elsewhere too for tips and tutorial.

How do you track conversions? I have Google Analytics and BLVD stats, but after my first sale, I still don't show any conversions. What's up? Do you know of a better site to track them? How can I find exactly where my sale came from without asking the customer?

I have a love-hate relationship with Google Adwords. I hate the fact that my conversion rate on Adwords visitors is less than 25% of my conversion rate everywhere else, on average.
I love the fact that I can get as many as 1000 visitors per day from Adwords, so I can test opt in script and sales pages quickly and easily. Advice: Never spend more on Adwords than you can afford to lose, at least until you get good at it and have consistent results.
Buy a good book on Adwords and learn everything you can and test everything you do.

I've been using it for the past few years and I do pretty well for my clients. I don't think I would do well if I was having to sell a product that cost 24.99 and under though.

adwords has a lot of risk involved. if you can afford some losses to start, it can be a good tool though. you need to learn which keywords will convert though.

As previously stated it is really a good way to test a new sites commercial appeal. You could go broke very fast. It really is in your best interested to learn all you can about Adwords. I am not just talking about finding the right keywords or anything. I am also talking about how to use Adwords period. You will spin your wheels and lose a lot of money if you do not know how to properly use it.

Google Adwords is good for your keyword research and traffic. You essentially create an account, insert your advertisement, pick the maximum amount you are willing to pay per click on your ad and then submit your credit card.

Just keep in mind that it is like an auction, bidding against competition. It can get expensive, so know your budget.
